Last month, we saw journalist Jeff Grubb say that Sony could hold a PlayStation Showcase in May. Now Grubb reinforced this possibility during an interview on Giant Bombcastsaying that the event can take place at any time, as it is already May.
This possibility aligns with what was said by John Harker in the ResetEra forum in April, who stated that PlayStation should really present new games in May this year.
During the interview, Grubb said:
The PlayStation Showcase will apparently take place later this month. But whether next week or the week after that, I honestly don’t know. It might be the end of the month, but I won’t be surprised if it actually happens next week, it could happen at any time.
