Ukraine Faces Severe Energy Crisis following Russian Attacks

The Burshtyn Thermal power Plant (TES) in Ivano-Frankivsk region sustained substantial damage in the attacks, impacting local heating and water supplies. According to reports from UNIAN, the plant has ceased operations.
Nationwide Energy Deficit and Restrictions
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has reported a very difficult situation across the national energy system. Kyiv residents are currently receiving electricity for only 1.5 to 2 hours per day. UNIAN reports that the damage to high-voltage substations has forced a reduction in output from nuclear power plants.widespread emergency shutdowns are in effect across most regions.
