Małgorzata Sadurska, who served as a member of the management board of the state-controlled insurance giant, earned over PLN 2.5 million in 2023 at PZU. President Beata Kozłowska-Chyła received less than the former head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland last year.
The annual report of the PZU Group summarizes the remuneration and other employee benefits paid to members of the insurer’s management board.
The document shows that she earned the most in 2023 Małgorzata Sadurska – total PLN 2.53 million. This amount includes the basic salary, part of the variable remuneration for 2019-2022 and non-cash benefits granted by PZU and its subsidiaries.
In second place was a former member of the company’s management board Maciej Rapkiewicz, whose total remuneration reached PLN 2.454 million, and he finishes on the podium Tomasz Kulik (also former member of the PZU management board) with the amount of PLN 2.449 million. The former president is only fourth in the ranking Beata Kozłowska-Chyła (PLN 2.424 million).
Małgorzata Kot earned PLN 2,312 million in PZU last year, former head of the CBA Ernest Bejda – PLN 2.292 million, Krzysztof Kozłowski – PLN 2.133 million, and Piotr Nowak – PLN 1.871 million.
At the end of February 2024, the PZU supervisory board dismissed Beata Kozłowska-Chyła, who served as president, and members of the management board: Ernest Bejda, Małgorzata Kot, Krzysztof Kozłowski, Piotr Nowak and Małgorzata Sadurska.

Małgorzata Sadurska has been a member of the PZU management board since June 13, 2017. From June 19, 2017 to April 14, 2022, she was also a member of the management board of PZU Życie.
Sadurska served as an MP in 2005-2015. She was a member of the Law and Justice Parliamentary Club. Then, in the years 2015-2017, she was the head of the chancellery of President Andrzej Duda. She was responsible for cooperation with the Council of Ministers, Parliament and public administration bodies.
Ernest Bejda, a close associate of the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, left the position of head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau in an atmosphere of scandal. The media then reported that from the CBA several million zlotys could have been withdrawn. In 2020, he became a member of the PZU management board.
In January, we reported on tvn24.pl that Ernest Bejda, despite his position at PZU, was still an officer of the CBA.
In turn, Piotr Nowak has been a member of the PZU management board since April 28, 2022. 21 days earlier, he was dismissed from the Council of Ministers by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, where he served as Minister of Development and Technology. He has held this role since October 26, 2021. He was responsible for the economy, construction, spatial planning and development, and housing.
