Rada Tilly Announces diverse Arts Program for the Weekend
The Municipality of Rada Tilly, through its Secretariat of Culture, invites the community to a weekend filled with diverse artistic experiences designed to foster connection, reflection, and engagement with the arts throughout the city. The free and open-to-the-public program features theater, a unique artistic intervention on the beach, and a collective art exhibition.
The weekend’s events begin on Thursday,January 29th,at 9:00 PM at the Rada Tilly Cultural Center with a performance of the play “Desmadre. Desnaturalizando lo habitual” (roughly translated as “Chaos. Denaturalizing the Usual”).This thought-provoking production explores the subtle forms of violence present in everyday life - how they disguise themselves, infiltrate our routines, and become almost invisible. Utilizing a sensory and poetic language within a cabaret setting, three performers navigate the darker aspects of human experience, presenting fragmented scenes that juxtapose beauty and cruelty, desire and submission, victim and perpetrator. The play promises to be an intense exploration of the body as both territory and a site of resistance.
On Saturday, January 31st, attendees are invited to an unprecedented experience on the beach. At 10:00 PM at Bajada 1 of Rada Tilly beach, “Bitácora del mar” (Logbook of the Sea) will be projected – an artistic and sensory intervention in a natural setting, also free to the public. This event combines audiovisual projections with live music to offer an immersive journey through the deep history of the coastline, encouraging a fresh outlook on the landscape and a renewed connection with the habitat. The projection is by Lux Kodama, with live music provided by Cuquex.attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, or cushions for comfortable viewing.
