Rainbow Six Siege Year 11: New content, Remasters, and a Social Hub on the Horizon
Rainbow Six Siege is gearing up for a packed Year 11, bringing new operators, map remasters, limited-time events, and a dedicated social space to the tactical shooter. Ubisoft has detailed plans across four seasons,promising a wealth of content for players.
Season 1: Operation Pulse Wave
The current season, Operation Pulse Wave, introduces a new attacker, Brava, a Brazilian operator equipped with a unique gadget – the Kludge Drone.This drone can temporarily hijack defender gadgets, turning their tech against them. The season also includes improvements to core gameplay mechanics and accessibility features, alongside new customization options.
Metal Gear Solid Collaboration
Adding a unique twist, Operation Pulse Wave features a crossover event with the Metal Gear Solid franchise. This includes a limited-time 4v4 infiltration mode where Snake and zero lead opposing teams in a data recovery mission. Players can also unlock themed skins, such as Grey Fox for Jackal and Meryl for Ash, further celebrating the iconic espionage series.
Looking Ahead: Seasons 2-4
Ubisoft has outlined exciting plans for the remainder of Year 11:
* Season 2: A complete remaster of the map Calypso Casino (originally from Rainbow six Vegas) will be released alongside a remaster of the operator Dokkaebi.
* Season 3: Players can expect the arrival of a new defender operator and the introduction of Operator Mastery, a new progression system designed to provide long-term goals and rewards.
* Season 4: The year will culminate with the launch of the Social Hub, a dedicated in-game space for players to interact and socialize outside of matches.
