“The installation of tents for field triage and pre-hospital care was carried out, as well as the activation of forensic medicine experts from the @senamecfoficial; ambulance units for the care, transfer and mass management of victims,” Ampueda reported.
Civil Protection, rescuers and firefighters are part of the advance that the national and regional Government have deployed after the collapse at the Bulla Loca de la Paragua mine, in the Bolivariano Angostura municipality. Official information is expected in the next few hours regarding the number of victims, missing and injured.
There is still no list of victims
The Secretary of Citizen Security, G/D Edgar Colina Reyes, reported that there is still no list of injured and fatal victims, since they are only in the first phase of the rescue work, so he considered it premature to talk about it.
Governor Ángel Marcano, in the afternoon, arrived by air to install a risk committee on site, together with the different security and prevention agencies of the State, with the purpose of coordinating the entire care plan.
