WALL – Details continue to emerge about the involvement of the Demirören Family to prevent DHA from publishing the news about writer Eylem Tok, who smuggled his 17-year-old son Timur C, who caused the death of Oğuz Murat Aci in Göktürk, Istanbul, to the USA.

DHA reporter Rojda Altıntaş, who previously shared the records of her meeting with Yıldırım Demirören’s wife Revna Demirören and her driver, reacted to the statements from the institution.

Altıntaş announced that the critical parts of the interview with Süleyman Keçiçi, who survived the accident, and Deren Kara, the friend of the deceased Aci, were cut and served shortly after the accident, and shared the entire footage and its censored versions on his social media account.

‘WHY DID YOU CUT THE INTERVIEW?’

Altıntaş made the following note on the images: “CNN Türk, which is part of Demirören Media, sent a reporter to the house of the deceased Oğuz Murat Aci’s family today to do an interview. If you are so sensitive about the incident, while Turkey was not aware of this incident, 15 hours after the incident, on behalf of DHA Why did you cut out the interviews we conducted? Why did you cut out the ‘kidnapped abroad’ allegations? Why did you cut out the name of Eylem Tok’s son who was kidnapped abroad and his father’s profession in the interview? Here are the interviews we did. How were these interviews, which are 3 minutes and 44 seconds, cut down to 1 minute and 22 seconds and published? Here are the before and after.

DHA reporter Rojda Altıntaş said, “I was subjected to pressure from the patronage of the broadcasting organization” due to her news about Eylem Tok and her son, and published the recording of her meetings with Revna Demirören and her driver.

Later, DHA General Manager Celal Korkut said; He made a statement regarding Altıntaş’s posts and said, “He has not been answering the phone since yesterday. Altıntaş is still a DHA employee and no action has been taken against him and will not be taken. As a professional, I am calling out to him from here because I cannot reach him. He will return to work as soon as possible and pick up where he left off.” “I expect him to continue his duty,” he said.

Responding to Korkut, Altıntaş said, “You were aware of everything. You wonder whether there are other audio recordings or images. For this reason, despite everything, you were forced to call me to work from DHA’s official account, how sad. But I will not return to work.”
