The Santa Clara Broncos men’s basketball team is making a strong case for its frist NCAA tournament appearance since 1996. Currently boasting a 16-4 record as of January 21, 2026, the Broncos are demonstrating a well-rounded game on both ends of the court, fueled by experienced coaching and balanced scoring.
Defensive Prowess
Santa Clara’s defense has been a key component of their success. They recently held the back-to-back West Coast Conference (WCC) regular season champions to just 54 points, showcasing their ability to stifle high-powered offenses. The Broncos’ combination of blocked shots and steals has them ranked 99th nationally in points allowed per game.
Offensive Balance
