Out-of-hospital serum applications, which are advertised on social media with names such as atom and vitamin cocktail, with the dream of rejuvenating, being vigorous, and getting up as soon as possible after diseases such as flu or cold, and performed without the supervision of a doctor, are life-threatening.
Intravenous applications, often made in cocktails, including glutathione, high doses of vitamin C, vitamin B, painkillers and antibiotics that must be prescribed by the doctor, can cause allergic shocks and even cardiac arrest. If the person is not in a hospital environment, intervention may be too late.
The serum craze, which has become fashionable with the influence of internet and social media influencers, can be done only in health cabins under the supervision of nurses, in the patient’s home salon by delivering it to homes, in yoga-pilates salons, and even in hairdressers-beauty centers.
