Schools across the Republic have begun to prepare for the exams for the first and second grades of secondary school, which are approaching, starting on May 8, and the Ministry of Education issued directives to the educational directorates in the governorates on the necessity of taking precautionary measures to protect students from the viruses spreading in the current period, and to be aware of the period when the seasons change. Prohibitions during exams for the first and second years of secondary school

- Preventing students from entering the school to take the exam without wearing the school uniform.
- Students in the first and second years of secondary school are not allowed to enter examination committees using mobile phones.

- The Ministry of Education has determined that the punishment for a student caught with a mobile phone inside the exam committee is to file a cheating report and cancel his exam.
- The Ministry also banned the use of the corrector in all subjects in the first and second grades of secondary school in 2024.
- The Ministry also warned against writing with colored pens on the answer sheet and to limit it to blue only.
- The Ministry stressed that parents of students in the first and second years of secondary school should not enter the school while the students are taking exams.
