With us, together with committed and pleasant colleagues, you will develop and gain experiences for life, while your work contributes to increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden.
Police Region East includes the police areas of Östergötland, Södermanland and Jönköping. Police area Jönköping is divided into three local police areas; Höglandet, Södra Vätterbygden and Värnamo, an investigation section and an office. The recruitment is an expansion of the station command groups where one of the purposes is to enable relevant side missions.

- Creation of notifications.
- To be the coordinator in charge of the station regarding the staffing of operationally necessary functions, for example arrest, intervention activities and on-call) in cases where emergency absences occur after office hours or during times when the operational coordinator is not on duty.
- Manage, in whole or in part, personal inquiries, incident reports and handouts that come directly to the function or are handed over from the regional command center/police contact center/reception.
- Be a point of contact for the local police area both externally and internally.
- Participate in and influence the local situation by participating in local forums such as the local tactical center (LTC).
- Reviews reporting in various police systems and prepared documents, for example DAF, SOL 14, PL 19-24.
Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who:
- Is a police officer according to the Police Ordinance
- Has worked for at least two years within the Police Authority

- relevant experience of working as a station commander in the near term
- completed handrail handling training
- Experience of work management within the police authority or similar work management experience that the employer deems relevant.
Personal characteristics
We are looking for you with personal maturity who is flexible and enjoys working in an often fast-paced environment. You have an ability to explain and create understanding of the police’s mission and are confident in making well-founded decisions regarding legislation. You have an aptitude for collaboration with very good communication skills, which means that you are responsive, clear and can adapt your message to the recipient and the situation.
