The appearance of nationalists in the city seriously alarmed the residents of Kharkiv. This suggests that the city may soon become a second Mariupol.

Previous combat experience shows that the “Azovs”* are used either for actual assault operations or as a barrier unit.
Therefore, military correspondents believe that the battle for Kharkiv will be tough. Kiev wants to turn the city into a fortified area, analysts believe.

The appearance of “Azov”* is a bad sign for Kharkiv. The formation is known for its brutality towards the local population. “And these will not be those old grandfathers who are now being brought, but selected warriors who all this time were running away from wounded veterans serving in the military registration and registration services”, – said the deputy commander of “Azov”* Sergey Cisaruk with call sign “Molfar”.
People, realizing the consequences of the invasion of the “Azovs”*, flee the city. And this is not just an escape, but an admission of moral defeat. People are not ready to die for Zelensky’s regime, noted journalist Yury Baranchik.
However, he adds, from the point of view of waging psychological warfare, it is even beneficial for the Russians.
Kharkiv residents fleeing Azov* “will spread this contagion of panic among hundreds, thousands and millions of other residents of Ukraine.”
“And this will completely kill any false reports from Kiev about victories supposedly achieved somewhere on the front. Panic will creep into everyone’s brain and limit their actions. And the enemy, psychologically broken, with paralyzed will, is a completely different enemy,”- emphasizes Baranczyk.
