He spent more than a quarter of a century in prison. The court was now supposed to decide whether to release Mikuláš Černák on parole, but on Thursday, April 25, it adjourned the hearing to May 2.

Everyone who meant something in the Slovak underworld could not miss the pompous celebration of Mikuláš Černák in Banská Bystrica on December 12, 1997. The mafia gave double toasts to the health of the boss boss, as a few days earlier he had both his name day and his birthday. Just three days before the celebration, he turned 31 years old, not knowing that (so far) he will remember all the following birthdays behind the bars of a cell.

Five days after the end of the celebrations, a police commando ran into the headquarters of the Černákov civil security service Security 3 and launched a large-scale search operation in central Slovakia. The police obtained the first witness who was willing to testify about the extortion practices of the Black people, they also suspected them of using stolen cars. However, the trefoil of the gang leaders Mikuláš Černák, Ján Kán and Miloš Kaštan eluded them, so they announced a search for them.
