WALL – With only a few days left until the March 31 elections, those who were not nominated from the AK Party continue to transition to the Re-Welfare Party.

AK Party’s Samsun Ladik and Bursa Kestel Mayors resigned from their parties and became candidates from the Re-Welfare Party. Former AK Party member Urfa Eyyübiye Mayor Mehmet Ekinci was also nominated from the Re-Welfare Party. Ekinci and Tanır were given their badges by Re-Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan.

In the post made on the party’s social media account, Tanır was announced as Kestel mayoral candidate. The following statements were included in the post: “Bursa Kestel Mayor Önder Tanır resigned from the AK Party and became the Kestel Mayor Candidate of our Re-Welfare Party. Congratulations to Kestel and our party.”

In the statement made last night on the party’s official social media accounts, “Samsun Ladik Mayor Adnan Topal and Ladik Deputy Mayor Orhan Yılmaz left the AK Party and joined our Re-Welfare Party. Our mayors gave their badges to our Samsun Provincial Mayor İbrahim Yaşar together with our Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Av.” “Adem Güney wore it. We welcome our presidents to our father’s house and wish them well.”

Re-Welfare Party will announce its Ankara and Istanbul candidates to the public at the candidate promotion meeting to be held at Ankara Atatürk Sports Hall on Saturday, February 10th.
