A massive fire broke out in a pasta food factory in the 10th of Ramadan City in Egypt, resulting in the fire devouring large quantities of food without causing any loss of life or injury. Material losses are being estimated.
The beginning was when Sharkia security received notification of a massive fire in a pasta factory in the third industrial zone in 10th of Ramadan City.
Civil protection forces moved immediately and were able to contain the fire, prevent it from spreading to other nearby factories, and extinguish it.
The initial inspection revealed that the factory is located on an area of 8,000 square metres, and consists of two floors, and it is likely that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.
The prosecution, which took over the investigation, was notified and decided to assign the forensic laboratory to inspect the fire and determine its cause, and to form a financial and technical committee to determine the suitability of the burning building or not and the value of the material losses.
