The vaccination campaign against dengue in Misionesfor the age group 20 to 59 years, will continue this Monday in different municipalities. The only way to request the vaccine is through the Alegramed application. You must enter the dengue vaccination campaign flap.

The opening hours of the vaccination centers are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The vaccination plan consists of two doses, with an interval of three months between each one. Between 6 to 8 days after the first dose is administered, the health status of each individual who received the vaccine will be evaluated.

  • Thursday 2/29: Eldorado at the Samic Hospital vaccination center and in Puerto Iguazú at the Modular Hospital vaccination center.

Steps to access the dengue vaccine

1) Enter the Alegramed application.

2) Enter the banner Vaccination campaign against dengue.

3) At this point, if you are in the age range to receive the vaccine and there is space for registration, a questionnaire will be opened. Otherwise, the message will appear: “There are no more spaces left. All the shifts that the province of Misiones can handle today were filled. Who can get the vaccine?

  • People from 20 to 59 years old, inclusive with medical indication
  • At the time of vaccination, the person should not have fever or symptoms related to dengue disease.

What are the criteria for NOT applying the vaccine?

  • Pregnancy
  • Lactation
  • If you had dengue, it is suggested to postpone vaccination for at least 6 months.
  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine.
  • Immunocompromised (people living with HIV, immunosuppression)
  • Oncology patients
  • Patients being treated with corticosteroids
  • Patient being treated with immunoglobulins or blood products containing immunoglobulins, blood or plasma. In these cases, it is recommended to wait at least six weeks to apply the vaccine.
  • Over 60 years old.
