Earlier we also reported that a Russian mechanized infantry unit attempted a powerful attack on Novomihalivka in the Vuhledar sector, however, the Ukrainian “Shadow” drone squadron and the 72nd Ukrainian brigade smashed the Russian marching column in seconds.
New, better-quality recordings of the “battle” have now been found, one of which shows that the Russian forces encountered serious problems at the beginning of the attack. The two attacking columns got mixed up before the attack, and one of the T-72s basically ran over and immobilized its partner.
By the way, the attack itself did not end successfully either, according to OSINT analysts the Russian forces lost about 15 combat vehicles during the attack – including the armored car that was previously disabled by the Russians’ maneuvering.

This is not the first time that larger Russian mechanized formations have been destroyed in chaotic conditions on the battlefield – we have previously seen an example of an armored fighting vehicle “as a deminer” pushed his companion in front of him.
