Viral images of Pedone! Crowd bathing in the market, after he ‘smashed’ an onion with pickles and sausages on the terrace
Cristian Popescu Piedone, the mayor of Sector 5, went to the fair. And that’s because, the mayor claims, he had a craving for something traditional. In the Facebook post, which has gone viral, Piedone appears on a terrace, surrounded by friends, as he breaks an onion, which he serves alongside jumars and sausages.
Then, as befits the man after the meal, the mayor took the fair in stride and stopped when someone had to ask him something or wanted to immortalize everything in a photo.
What the mayor of Sector 5 wrote
“I got a craving for lard and I went looking for it in the market, as is my habit for many years.
I found it where I suspected, with the same unique taste of Transylvania! She was waiting for me leaning on some smoked sausages and telling me something about a little muscle grown in the clean meadows from Jijia up.
I bought them with some cheese, to make my house happy on holy Sunday!
And as I am lustfully small… I couldn’t wait any longer! I broke an onion and pickled a Transylvanian peasant, together with my friends, right on the edge of the stall.
Satisfied and happy… I took it in stride, happy and curious to have people weigh me with a word, with an exhortation and co povata!
Since I have known myself through the local administration, I have learned that the official scales do NOT give the exact weight of the person, but… the person is the one who weighs the person best!
I left energized with the friendship of simple people who accepted me as I am, supported me unconditionally and were always close to me, confident that WHATEVER THE DIFFICULTY OF HIS MISSION IN THE COMMUNITY, Piedone can handle,
