From today onwards, Vodafone Portugal offers Fixed Internet access speeds, via fiber optics, which can reach 10 Gbps download and upload, that is, 10 times faster than the currently available solution.
These speeds result from the latest generation fiber technology (XGS-PON), guarantee network stability and minimum latency, and respond to customers in the consumer segment with multiple connected devices and intensive use or, in the business segment, small and medium-sized companies. companies with internet consumption habits that require increasingly faster speeds.
All Vodafone private or business customers who have a fixed fiber optic service can have access to Fixed Internet speeds of up to 10Gbps by adding a speed supplement to their tariff plan.
In this first phase, explains the operator, this new service is now available in the municipalities of Lisbon and Porto, being gradually extended across the country.
