Weekend Gaming: Top Picks & New Releases

What We’re Playing This Weekend: From Spooky Adventures to Factory Automation

The RPS Treehouse has a new, rather persistent guest – and he’s demanding to know what games we’re playing this weekend!‌ So, we’ve ⁤obliged, sharing our current⁢ gaming obsessions, from chilling horror experiences to intricate building‌ simulations. Here’s a peek into‌ what the team is diving into, and hopefully,it’ll inspire your own weekend gaming plans.

Callum: Embracing the Darkness (and a Little Vengeance)

My first week as a⁢ full-time writer calls for a specific kind of atmosphere: slightly unsettling. That means immersing myself in the atmospheric horror of Little Nightmares 3. Expect a speedy playthrough!

Beyond the scares, I’m also continuing my journey in Ghost of ⁤Yotei, relentlessly pursuing vengeance… until a fox inevitably distracts me.It’s a cycle, really.

James: Silksong still Holds, with a Need⁢ for ⁣Speed

I’m still chipping away at Silksong, balancing work with a little (okay, a lot) of fun. To decompress, I’m indulging ⁤in the pure exhilaration of Forza Horizon 5.

Plus, I’ll ⁢be testing out the Valor mortis playtest this weekend. It’s essentially Silksong with a first-person outlook and… pointy hats? Challenge accepted.

Mark: ‌Exploring Post-apocalyptic London

I’m roughly 12 hours into my Fallout: London playthrough. while the new DLC additions haven’t fully revealed themselves yet, I’m enjoying exploring the streets⁤ of a reimagined, post-apocalyptic Thames.

I’ll also be checking out demos from the latest Next Fest events, always on the hunt for hidden gems.

Nic: Falling for Hades 2 (Again) and a Resident‌ evil binge

I’m actively trying to break my Hades cycle – playing for days, then forgetting about it for a year. Hades 2‘s gloomier aesthetic is already pulling me in, though. It’s a welcome change from the ‍fiery underworld.

Of course, it’s October, wich means it’s time for my annual Resident Evil binge. I’ve already sunk 112 hours into Resident Evil 4 Remake and still crave more!

Ollie: Lost in the World of Factory Games

currently, I’m juggling an embarrassing number ‌of factory games. I was dedicated to Dyson Sphere Program, but my⁣ brother’s enthusiasm for Shapez 2 convinced ⁢me ⁢to start a new ‌game.

And then I discovered the demo for Little Rocket Lab – a delightful⁢ blend of Stardew Valley and Factorio. A ⁣holiday can’t come soon enough!
