If, with the arrival of good weather, you too don’t feel like having breakfast with a hot drink, but prefer to treat yourself to a fresh and at the same time delicious snack, the Sicilian coffee granita is certainly the one for you. Here’s how to prepare it. It’s a real delicacy!

The real recipe for Sicilian coffee granita (Buttalapasta.it)

Ingredients

  • 250 milliliters of water;
  • 70 grams of sugar;
  • 200 milliliters of coffee;
  • 1 teaspoon of instant coffee;
  • 150 milliliters of cream for desserts;
  • 2 tablespoons of icing sugar;
  • bitter cocoa powder to taste

Preparation

  • Once you have found all the necessary ingredients, make the real Sicilian coffee granita it will be child’s play! First, prepare the coffee with the mocha.
  • Once ready, while it is still hot, dissolve a teaspoon of it in it soluble coffee. In this way, you will give the border a more intense aroma.
  • Then pour thewater in a saucepan. Add it sugar and bring everything to the boil.
  • Once the water starts to boil, wait 3-4 minutes, remove from the heat and mix everything with the coffee.
  • Leave to cool and place the mix in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  • Once the necessary time has passed, work the coffee mixture in an ice cream maker at minimum speed.
  • Continue like this for 4-5 minutes and the granita will be ready.
