O WhatsApp has stopped working and will not offer new updates from this Wednesday (1st) on 35 smartphone models. The application, which is one of the most downloaded in the world, is no longer supported by cell phones, such as the iPhone 6, Moto G and Galaxy S4 mini.
People who still have electronic devices should provide a backup of messages to ensure they are not lost. Another solution is to migrate all messages and files present in the application to a new model.
The moment WhatsApp stops being compatible with an operating system version, users of these devices also lose access to updates, bug fixes and technical support. Therefore, it is possible that the functioning of the application on the cell phone may be compromised.

According to Meta, the company responsible for WhatsApp, the measure aims to improve the security and efficiency of the tool. To achieve this, it is necessary to adapt to the technical capabilities that only more modern devices can offer.
