Newswesk wrote about this fact, warning that pensioners who no longer live in Romania must submit a document annually to the Pension House, in order not to be left without a pension.

The document must certify that the beneficiary of the pension, stability abroad, is alive. He will have to be sent twice a year, in March and September, to the territorial pension houses, according to the new pension law.

The payment of the pension is suspended from the month following failure to send the life certificate, if pensioners from the Diaspora do not meet the deadlines of March 31 and September 30, i.e. from April and October, respectively.
