After Saturday’s glider accident in Martin, at least one victim has been registered. At the moment, rescue services are still working on the spot, the situation is complicated by the fire. Petra Klimešová, spokeswoman for the operation center of the emergency medical service, stated this for TASR.
The spokeswoman added that the fire department called 155. Ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the glider accident.
The Žilina regional spokesperson for the fire department, Mária Pohanková Zahatlanová, specified that the glider fell on the substation. “Eight firefighters from stations in Martin and Žilina are currently working at the scene of the accident with three pieces of equipment,” she said.
