Barry Manilow Postpones Las Vegas Residency Following Cancer Treatment
Barry Manilow has postponed his upcoming Las Vegas residency to continue recovering from recent surgery to remove a cancerous growth from his lung. The singer announced the decision in a statement posted to his official Instagram account on February 4, 2026.
Surgery and Recovery
Manilow underwent surgery in December 2023 to remove a cancerous growth discovered after completing a series of holiday concerts. He stated he is “doing well and recovering well from the surgery.” Following medical advice,he has decided to postpone the residency at the Westgate Las Vegas,originally scheduled for February 12-21,to March 26-28,2026.
Tour Schedule Remains Largely Intact
Despite the residency postponement, Manilow intends to proceed wiht his stadium tour, which is set to begin on February 27, 2026, at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.Dates are currently scheduled through April 19, 2026, in Georgia. He had previously rescheduled January tour dates to March and April.
Continued Work and Future Music
Manilow shared that he has been spending time exercising and working in the studio, describing the latter as “fantastic.” He also promised fans that new music is on the horizon.
