There will also be first division football at Mambourg next season. The Zebras already had their sheep on dry land before half time, but were still trembling against Eupen in the final phase. Sharp Charleroi takes control of the match

We played good football at certain times in the first half, in the second half we played against a team that played all or nothing and was much stronger in the duels than we did. That must be a lesson for us, although I did see a team that fought until the last second. That also makes me happy, you can see that the team spirit has increased a lot in recent weeks I want to see even better football in the second half, but we deserved to win. You see several boys growing to a better level, which makes me happy. I wasn’t here for the Play-offs, so I can’t really say what has changed I just worked on building a close-knit team and started putting more pressure on. We wanted to play more football, and we succeeded, step by step. We were able to do that in a few weeks, which makes me happy.”
• Antoine Bernier: “It was stressful at the end, they could have equalized. Throughout the game I think we controlled it well, the 3 points are the most important. We pushed from the beginning, the early goal did us good. second goal was even more important. I think the fact that I can play 4 games in a row gives me extra confidence. Tactically and in terms of desire, we showed that we were ready in these play-offs team.”
• Kristoffer Andersen: “It’s hard to say things now because of the emotions. We slept for the first 10 minutes, then we got into the game. The second goal that came out of nowhere killed us. I think through the whole I have tried everything with the team this season, in the end it has not yet led to solutions. I think we have the quality in the team, we have simply not been consistent enough, I have seen good performances and catastrophic performances. It’s not over yet, we’ll see what happens.”
• Boris Lambert: “There is disappointment, it was a difficult match with a good response in the second half. In the end it was still not enough. In the first half we had a hard time creating anything. We have to keep believing, especially as long as it is still possible.”
