Christoph Nowak Appointed German Chairman of Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Christoph Nowak, the managing director of Dachser’s Korean office, has been appointed as the new German chairman of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI). The appointment was announced by the KGCCI following its 45th annual general meeting held in Seoul, where the business lobby group conducted a reshuffle of its board of directors.
The leadership transition occurred during the chamber’s annual meeting on Thursday.

The KGCCI held its 45th annual general meeting in Seoul. During this session, the chamber officially announced the appointment of Nowak to the position of German chairman.

Christoph Nowak’s background in global logistics
Nowak brings over 20 years of global experience in the logistics and supply chain management sectors to his new role as German chairman. He currently serves as the managing director of the Korean office for Dachser. Nowak joined Dachser in 2024, following a career that includes key roles in trades with Europe and Asia.
Before his tenure at Dachser, Nowak held key positions at German-based firms. He worked for the supply chain management company 4flow and the global logistics firm DB Schenker.
Nowak previously served as a director at the chamber for two years.
Steffen Trabert appointed as German vice chairman
As part of the board reshuffle, the KGCCI has also named Steffen Trabert as the new German vice chairman. Trabert serves as the representative director and senior vice president of sales for the Asia-Pacific region at Korber Pharma.
Trabert possesses more than 20 years of professional experience operating across Asia.
