Nosocomial infections constitute a challenge for all establishments in the health network. The fight against these infections must be a responsibility shared by all care and service providers in the establishment, regardless of their job title, and be the subject of a structured program.
The Infection Prevention and Control Service (IPC) reports to the Office of the Deputy President and CEO and is made up of the following people:
- PCI coordinator
- PCI department heads
- Assistants to the immediate superior (ASI)
- Clinical nurse specialist (ICS)
- IPC Nursing Advisors
- Administrative agents
The PCI Service is available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
