A second course without salad or salad loses its taste. To serve a complete dinner, you should add it to it. However, choosing from so many options can be really difficult. So we want to make it a bit easier by offering this tidbit.

Preparing dinner every day is not always easy. Sometimes we have a big problem with this, and having a blank mind doesn’t help at all. In such moments, it is best to resort to the most classic dishes that are very well known to us. Such a dish is a cutlet covered with boiled potatoes and served with salad. Just as the first two elements of dinner are not complicated, the choice of salad may make us wonder.

White cabbage salad can save our dinner. How? First of all, it is easy to prepare and everyone loves it. We probably already have the ingredients needed at home, so a trip to the store won’t be necessary. To make its taste more interesting, add apple cider vinegar and a small amount of sugar.

Recipe for white cabbage salad

Ingredients

  • a head of white cabbage,
  • 2 carrots,
  • onion,
  • 3 tablespoons of apple vinegar,
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • spoon of sugar,
  • salt and pepper to taste,
  • parsley for decoration.

A method of preparing

  • Wash the cabbage, grate it or chop it finely. Then place it in a larger bowl.
  • Peel the carrot and also grate it, peel the onion and chop it into thin slices. Add both vegetables to the prepared cabbage.
  • In a small bowl, mix apple cider vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt and pepper. This will give you a dressing.
  • Pour the prepared dressing over the vegetables and mix thoroughly so that all ingredients are evenly covered.
  • Set the salad aside in the fridge for about 30 minutes to let the flavors mingle. Before serving, decorate it with chopped parsley.
