JAY-Z Announces New London and LA Tour Dates for 30th Anniversary Celebration

JAY-Z has expanded his 30th anniversary concert run by adding second performance nights in London and Los Angeles. The rapper is extending the series following three sold-out shows in New York City earlier this month, bringing his upcoming schedule to five concerts.

The tour celebrates three decades since the 1996 release of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt. The schedule now includes two nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 4 and 5, a performance at Stade de France in Paris on September 10, and two nights at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on October 23 and 24.

Ticket Sales and U.K. Return

The September 4 concert in London marks JAY-Z’s first solo headlining show in the U.K. in over a decade. Presales for the newly added London and Los Angeles dates begin Wednesday, July 29 at 10 AM, local time. General ticket sales open Thursday, July 30 at 10 AM on Ticketmaster.

The rapper returned to performing in May at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, where he delivered his first solo headlining set in years and featured reunions with several artists connected to his hometown, including Beanie Sigel and Freeway.

The Anniversary Series and New York Performances

While Reasonable Doubt reached its 30th anniversary in June, The Blueprint, released in 2001, will mark 25 years in September.

Earlier this month, JAY-Z returned to New York for three nights at Yankee Stadium. The July 10 concert celebrated Reasonable Doubt, while the following evening paid tribute to The Blueprint. A third show, billed as “Extra Innings,” was added in response to demand and pulled from both albums along with other records from his career.

The New York run featured several high-profile guests who joined the rapper on stage, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nas, Eminem and Pharrell Williams.

Upcoming HBO Documentary Project

The concert dates precede the release of another major project from JAY-Z. This fall, he will appear in Jay-Z in 8, an eight-part HBO documentary series directed by Rick Rubin examining his career and creative process.
