North West has addressed the sudden cancellation of the Kimokawaii Tour, her planned debut headlining concert series alongside rapper Molly Santana, assuring supporters via social media that she is already preparing new projects. The 13-year-old performer, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, broke her silence on Instagram Stories after concert listings quietly vanished from major ticketing platforms across North America.
The tour cancellation arrives shortly after North stepped onto the festival stage in June 2026 for her first-ever solo music festival performance at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Bridgeview, Illinois.
“I was really excited to go on tour w molly santana sadly it isn’t happening anymore but i have something special for u guys see ya soon,” North wrote on her Instagram Stories, according to the Daily Mail.
The message marked the teenager’s first public response to mounting online speculation regarding missing dates. The Kimokawaii Tour was originally slated to begin on August 5 in Dallas, with subsequent stops planned in major cities including a scheduled August 17 appearance in Toronto and an August 27 date in Los Angeles.
Molly Santana Apologizes To Ticket Holders
Following North’s announcement, rapper Molly Santana released a statement via Instagram Stories addressing fans who had purchased tickets and made travel arrangements for the North American trek.
“To everyone who bought tickets to the tour i sincerely apologize i know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there,” Santana wrote.
The rapper emphasized the importance of connecting with her audience, adding that sharing live memories remains a central part of her career. “You are all so greatly appreciated and please know that i never take your time or support lightly i love yall so much & i promise i will make this one up to you,” she stated.
Ticketing Platforms And Official Status
As digital footprints for the live run vanished, ticketing agencies updated their systems to reflect the changes. Ticketmaster designated the August 5 Dallas launch and the August 17 Toronto show as canceled, while AXS removed the August 27 Los Angeles date from its inventory.
In tandem with the platform removals, the dedicated Kimokawaii Tour landing page was taken down from Santana’s official website. Neither performer has announced whether the cancelled itinerary will be rescheduled.
Recent Milestones And Family Support
Before the tour’s abrupt end, North marked several major milestones in her emerging music career. During her Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash set in Bridgeview, Illinois, she performed her collaboration “TALKING” with her father Kanye, alongside tracks from her debut EP, “N0rth4Evr.”
The Kardashian-Jenner family has maintained a visible presence throughout her recent artistic endeavors. In May, family members shared celebratory posts surrounding the launch of her six-track EP, with Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian posting updates to social media, while Kanye and Kim made appearances at her promotional pop-up event in Los Angeles.
Fans awaiting further updates on North’s promised project can monitor official artist channels and primary ticketing vendors for future announcements regarding rescheduled dates or new releases.
