Russian prosecutors stated that an unidentified woman carrying an improvised explosive device attempted to enter the Balzi Rossi restaurant before being stopped by a security guard, at which point the device detonated. Russia’s foreign ministry quickly blamed Kyiv for the attack, stating that the bloody tentacles

The broader conflict increasingly targeted industrial and economic infrastructure. Ukrainian drones struck a warehouse belonging to Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries in the Vladimir region. Al Jazeera reported that President Zelenskyy accused Wildberries of supporting Russia’s war effort by selling dual-use items such as military helmets, protective vests, and fiber-optic drone cables, citing findings from independent watchdogs.
Diplomatically, the intense aerial bombardments coincided with stalled peace efforts and friction over Western military aid.
