We brought these two accused to you, handcuffed with their evidence. The victim in this incident is Naira.” Salah Mahmoud, a first-year student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Arish University, is 18 years old. She grew up in a simple family like all other families. She dreamed of a career in medicine. Far and near she witnessed good faith, good behavior, morals, and good conduct, but like all human beings, she lives among people. Stuck on the blessing of protection, she made mistakes like all human beings, so the defendants threatened her with what they caught on her and spread terror in her soul, which took her life.

He added: “As for the second accused, “Taha,” a colleague of the victim and the accused, the first accused used him to force the victim. He did not have mercy on her weakness and led a revolution to get rid of her morally. He threatened her in writing regarding the solvency of the batch group via the WhatsApp application, so that his threat would have the most deadly effects. With her, he spread terror in her soul and became happy and happy with her crying because of his power. His pride had been stripped from him, and he was one of the losers.

Death, which actually happened, and the prosecution ended up referring “Shorouk.K” and “Taha.M” to felonies, and 11 defendants were referred on charges of spreading false news to the Economic Court.

The father continued: “Her mother and I traveled from our village in Dakahlia to Al-Arish, and during our travel we tried to contact her without any response. Immediately upon our arrival at the hospital, we received news of her death after she entered a coma on the machines in the hospital. In implementation of this, accounts were monitored through social media sites and platforms that broadcast publications and broadcast clips that included false news and rumors about the incident, which were examined by the Communications and Information Technology Sector of the Ministry of the Interior, which contained its report and the person who prepared it testified that the accused in charge of managing the account called “Mo Silva” was involved in broadcasting false news from Through accounts that he personally managed on the platforms “Tik Tok, YouTube” and the social networking site “Facebook”, which included, contrary to the truth, the defendants in the incident of the death of a student at Al-Arish University taking obscene pictures of the deceased and threatening to publish them and poison her after she sought help from those in charge of the administration of the college where she studied and who refrained from publishing them. Providing assistance to her to influence the legality of the accused, and this false news would threaten public security and disturb the peace.

Therefore, the Public Prosecution issued its decision to arrest and bring the accused, and upon interrogating him, it determined that he holds an intermediate diploma and works as a YouTuber and clothing merchant. He admitted that he committed the incident and that he was the one who prepared and published the clip containing false news about that incident without verifying the authenticity of the information he broadcast through it. In order to gain views and followers, he also acknowledged the accuracy of his preparation of the clip attributed to him, and that he derived his information from what was published on other sites.

The Public Prosecution ordered his detention pending investigations, and instructed the examining body to complete its work to notify the managers of the accounts publishing the false news that had been detected.

The Public Prosecution ordered the referral of 11 defendants to the competent Economic Misdemeanor Court for spreading false news and rumours, likely to disturb public peace, create panic among people, and harm the public interest, regarding the death of the victim Naira Salah Mahmoud, a student at Al-Arish University, and for using private accounts on the international information network for the purpose of committing that crime.

The Public Prosecution had assigned the Communications and Information Technology Sector at the Ministry of Interior to conduct the necessary technical investigations to examine all websites that covered the incident.
