The details were revealed by Krystyna Michałek, the regional spokesperson of ZUS in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

There are retirees who have reasons to be satisfied because their benefits exceed several or even several dozen thousand zlotys. The highest pension in the country is over PLN 43,000. PLN gross, and it is received by a resident of the Silesian Voivodeship from the ZUS branch in Zabrze. He worked for his benefit for over 62 years and 5 months, retiring only at the age of 86 – she said in an interview with “Gazeta Pomorska”.

Record pensions. How much are they?

Michałek also talked about the highest benefits in the region. The record pension is PLN 33.3 thousand. PLN gross. This is the money a pensioner from Bydgoszcz receives. This is the highest pension awarded to a woman in Poland. She worked for the benefit for 61 years – she finished her professional career at the age of 81.

The second highest pension paid in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship by the ZUS branch in Bydgoszcz is received by a 77-year-old man and it is PLN 22.7 thousand. PLN gross. He worked for 58 years in his life and retired at the age of 76, which is 11 years later than the common retirement age – revealed Michałek.
