Last night at the National Basketball Association (NBA) the matches of the first round of the playoffs continued. In one of them, the Minnesota Timberwolves with a result 126:109 beat the Phoenix Suns, increasing the lead in the series to 3-0.

Anthony Edwards was excellent for the winners, who stood out with 36 points, nine rebounds and five assists. He was paced by Rudy Gobert with 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points and 13 rebounds. Bradley Beal was the most successful for the losers with 28 points, while Kevin Durant had 25 points and five assists.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers took a 2-1 lead in the series against the Milwaukee Bucks with a 121-118 overtime win. It should be noted that the “Bucks” still have to do without the leader Yannis Adetokunbo due to an injury.

In his absence, Khris Middleton led the way with 42 points and 10 rebounds, while Damian Lillard’s 28 points and eight assists were not enough to win. Tyrese Haliburton was unstoppable in the ranks of the Pacers, who collected a triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists.

In another duel, the Dallas Mavericks won 101:90 over the Los Angeles Clippers, taking a 2-1 lead in the series. As usual, the Mavericks were led forward by Luka Doncic, who this time collected 22 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, while Kyrie Irving had 21 points and six assists. James Harden finished the match with 21 points and five assists for the opponents.
