Vâlcea: The worker buried under a bank of earth in Sineşti was rescued
The military firefighters managed to save, on Wednesday, in less than an hour after receiving the call, two workers who were surprised by a bank of earth while digging a ditch for sewage in the Sineşti commune.
A worker buried up to the waist was pulled out first, followed by his colleague who had been completely covered.
“Both people were saved. The first person, the one caught half off the ground, was extracted by the firemen and handed over, conscious, to the SMURD crew, who transported her to Horezu CPU with chest trauma.
The second victim, who at the beginning of the intervention was completely covered with earth, was also extracted by the firemen, with sustained efforts, and handed over to the medical crews present on the scene, conscious and cooperative. The victim was transported to the CPU Horezu by the SAJ ambulance, with lower limb trauma and chest trauma,” ISU Vâlcea reported.
The case also came to the attention of the labor inspectors, but because there were no deceased persons, the investigation is to be carried out by the employer, who will then submit the prepared file for approval to the ITM.
