National Security act Invoked in Muzaffarnagar Triple Murder Case
Muzaffarnagar,Uttar Pradesh – District authorities have invoked the National security Act (NSA) against the accused in a triple murder case in the Shamli district,officials stated on Sunday.
Farooq, 45, was arrested on December 17th of last year in connection with the murders of his wife and two minor daughters in Ghari Daulat village, Kandhla area. The NSA has been applied to Farooq, according to Shamli Police Superintendent N.P.Singh, who addressed reporters on the matter.
The National Security Act of 1980 allows authorities to detain individuals without formal charges for up to a year to prevent them from acting in a manner prejudicial to public order.
Police investigations reveal that Farooq allegedly shot his wife, Tahira, and one of his daughters following a domestic dispute.He then strangled his second daughter to death. Afterward,he attempted to conceal the crime by burying the bodies within the house.
The invocation of the NSA underscores the seriousness with which authorities are treating this case and aims to ensure public safety by preventing further potential harm.
