The police from Braşov caught a driver traveling at 275 km per hour with the radar device. He was fined and left without a driver’s license for a period of 120 days.
“Dear driver, we have the honor to inform you that your vehicle has been caught by the radar in a speed race more exciting than an action movie! We’re impressed with your performance, but we’re here to help keep your feet on the ground (or asphalt, in your case).
After analyzing the details, we have decided to offer you a “leave of absence” for 120 days. Consider this interval as one of meditation, during which you will watch others drive.” the Brasov Police sent on their Facebook page, according to News.ro.
In the same note, the police told the driver that he would have time to consult articles about speed limits and the risks of not respecting them.
“Also for this period, when you will not be able to drive, I have prepared a list of interesting articles about speed limits and the risks of not respecting them. We hope you find that speeding can be even more fun! So, after you get your license back, drive safely and pay attention to the speed indicators – they are not just elements”, the policemen state.
