An 11-year-old girl was hit by a police vehicle on a mission on Memorandumului street in Cluj-Napoca, this morning.
“On April 24, around 09:00, a road accident was registered on Memorandumului street in Cluj-Napoca.
From the first investigations carried out on the spot, it emerged that a police car from the Cluj-Napoca Police Department 2, which, according to the first data, was being driven in a priority regime, would have hit a pedestrian on the road side with its mirror, respectively a minor of 11 years.
Following the event, the pedestrian did not require medical attention, as he was not transported to the hospital.
The driver, namely a 38-year-old man, was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being negative”, reports IPJ Cluj.
At the level of the leadership of the Cluj County Police Inspectorate, ex officio checks were started to establish exactly how priority traffic was imposed.
