The lead singer of the famous reggae band Morgan Herritage, Peter Morgan, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the age of 46. His family announced this in a message.
“It is out of heartfelt love that we share that our beloved husband, father, son and brother and singer of Morgan Heritage Peter Anthony Morgan passed away today, February 25, 2024. Jah come and save us from ourselves, because love is the only way,” the family wrote in a post on Instagram.
“Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love and support, and we ask for your continued prayers as we navigate this process. We ask that you please respect our privacy. Thank you!”
Nothing has been announced about the cause of death.
Morgan led the Grammy-winning group that consisted of five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan. The other members are Una Morgan, Roy ‘Gramps’ Morgan, Nakhamyah ‘Lukes’ Morgan and Memmatelel ‘Mr Mojo’ Morgan.
