Activists from the pro-Ukrainian Euromaidan initiative dumped two tonnes of manure on Saturday morning in front of the Russian ambassador’s villa in Warsaw, to mark the second anniversary of Russian aggression in Ukraine, an AFP photographer noted .
The pile of manure was accompanied by a Russian flag covered in blood and inscriptions in Polish and English “Russia = shit”.
In a press release sent to AFP, Euromaidan explained that it was “high time to expel Russian diplomats from Poland”.
“As long as we tolerate the activities of Russian pseudo-diplomats and troll factories, the threat of global conflict will only increase,” according to the text.
The statement also indicates that another group of activists activated alarm sirens and reproduced sounds of explosions and gunshots in front of a building in Warsaw inhabited by Russian diplomats.
