Journalists, ministers, governors and other public servants, residents of Urbanização Nova Vida, since Wednesday, 22, who in closed circles and on social networks do not hide their expression of joy, with the announcement of the rehabilitation of the housing project’s potholed roads.
It is one of the housing projects in the Angolan capital where the majority of residents are government civil servants, from ministers, governors, administrators, to opposition politicians. But, it is also one of the housing projects, currently, with the most degrading access, compared to others in almost all of Luanda.
In a presidential order consulted by the Kianda’s Mailwith number 278/23, of 21 November, considering the high level of degradation in the streets and roads of Urbanização Nova Vida, with potholes and transversal erosion, the President of the Republic through an order, directed, with urgently, its rehabilitation.
According to the document, the contract for the public rehabilitation works contract will be signed with the company eligible by the financing entity, for a total investment of US dollars 259,478,295.06, including VAT at the legal rate in force.
The Minister of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing was delegated “the sub-delegation competence to carry out decision-making and supervisory approval acts, which covers, from the preparation of the procedural documents, to the conclusion and signature of the contracts mentioned above ”, it reads.
