Roxeanne Hazes and two former business partners of her mother Rachel Hazes must testify on Thursday in a case about a power of attorney in Rachel’s name. The witness hearings will take place on Thursday morning in the court in Amsterdam.

The case between Rachel on the one hand and Roxeanne and the former business partners, Marieke van Beek and Rob Israël, on the other hand, has been going on for a long time. It concerns a power of attorney that Rachel gave to Van Beek and Israel in 2016 when she was not doing well due to a breakdown.

Roxeanne would also know more details about that. Rachel claims that her interests were not properly represented at the time.

Previously, the judge ruled that Rachel was only allowed to hear her daughter and former business partners about an invoice of 24,000 euros for a coaching program. Rachel appealed against this, because she also wants clarity about other choices made on her behalf years ago.

Roxeanne has indicated several times that she does not want to testify in this case. Mother and daughter have had a bad relationship with each other for years. There is also another case going on between them, which concerns the legacy of the late André Hazes Sr.

The singer narrated Dorst Farm that she doesn’t think the bond with her mother will ever recover. “I have to remain realistic: too much has just happened.”
