Singer Kesha is doing better than ever. The American will soon release new music and has never felt ‘so happy’ before, she says in an interview with V Magazine.

Last year, after almost ten years, Kesha’s legal battle with her former producer Dr. Luke. The 36-year-old singer stated that she had been sexually abused by him and wanted to get out of her recording contract. The two have reached a settlement.

Now that Kesha is finally free, she is busy writing new songs. “I feel like I deserve to be so happy,” says the musician. “I am loving every minute of what feels like a brand new and very exciting chapter.”

When she shows her music to the outside world, Kesha keeps it a secret for a while. “I have already circled a day on my calendar, but I am not going to say which day that is yet.”
