The media office of the Ministry of Public Health issued a statement in which it said: “The Ministry condemns in the strongest terms the attack that was directly exposed to the Islamic Health Authority Center in the town of Blida, which led to the fall of martyrs from the Civil Defense and the complete destruction of the center, in addition to the destruction of a large number of ambulances.” affiliated with the Centre.

He added, “The Ministry recalls that this attack on a non-military health center is not the first of its kind since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against southern Lebanon. Rather, it has been repeated on more than one health center in violation of international laws and norms, especially the Geneva Convention.”

The statement continued, “The Ministry stresses the necessity of neutralizing health centers and health workers who carry out medical and humanitarian work that cannot be obstructed or made subject to targeting in these harsh circumstances, and that the Israeli continuation of these dangerous violations is the responsibility of the international community, especially international humanitarian organizations, most notably the World Health Organization.” The World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross, whose regulations and constitutions stress the need to protect health workers, their centers and their means of transportation.
