As if the chip designers hadn’t learned from the fiasco two years ago, the highly efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was replaced by the performance-hungry and much hotter Gen 3, and there were devices – such as the Red Magic 9 Pro – which got pretty hot running 3D tests. Part of the reason for this is that Android chips have fallen behind the 3 nm bandwidth, and it is precisely this change that can bring salvation in the case of the next generation.

Yogesh Brar you know: Xiaomi has the exclusive right to launch the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phones on the market – on an exclusive basis Xiaomi 15 and 15 Prot – and then the OnePlus 13and that is iQOO 13 from BBK Electronics, almost certainly before the end of the year. In China, there is a lot of competition for the early start, and if the news is true, Xiaomi is even willing to make sacrifices in order to be first. Just make sure the camera doesn’t fog up in a hurry.
