ZTE recently came out with a new device, which is a flip mobile with a bendable display, with the very fitting name Libero Flip. Inside the smartphone is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, and the secondary display has a pretty circular design. However, the most remarkable feature of the mobile phone is still its price, calculated roughly, it will cost HUF 150,000, and in the introductory sale it will be sold much cheaper than that. There is no news about European distribution yet, but the novelty may even reach us later, so it is worth getting to know it.

The ZTE Libero Flip has a 6.9-inch bendable AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2790 x 1188 pixels. Instead of a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel on the outside of the device, it packs 466 x 466 pixels. With this display, you can also use the primary cameras to take selfies, but you can also put a lot of widgets on it, such as the stopwatch, the pedometer, and you can also control the multimedia player.

The rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary module capable of 4K video recording and a 2-megapixel secondary unit. On the inside, we find a 16-megapixel selfie camera, which takes place in a cutout. The hinge also allows the device to be opened only halfway, so the mobile can be its own camera stand.

The ZTE Libero Flip is powered by a very decent mid-range processor in the form of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. And the power supply is handled by a 4310 mAh battery, quite large in its category, which can be charged with 33 watts via a USB-C connector. The outer cover has an IP42 rating, which means that it is not completely waterproof, but it should be able to withstand a few drops of moisture.

The ZTE Libero Flip will welcome its future owner with the Android 13 system after being turned on for the first time, but it will initially be sold only in Japan from February 29, at an introductory price of approximately 246 euros (~95,000 HUF) in local currency. The later recommended retail price will not be too bad with its 389 euros (~ HUF 151,000). The smartphone will only be available in a single configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no news about an international release yet.
