An actor was shot, on Friday, on the stage of the Mihai Eminescu Theater in Botoșani, during a rehearsal, by one of his colleagues.
In one of the scenes, actor Marius Rogojinschi pointed an airsoft gun at actor Răzvan Amitroaei. He pretended to shoot, but a projectile specially made for this sport came out of the barrel of the gun, writes Monitorul de Botoșani.
The projectile hit the actor in the left eye, causing him to fall to the floor. He was taken to the emergency room.
“During Friday morning, an actor shot with a homemade weapon arrived at the UPU-SMURD service. The patient had minor eyeball trauma and conjunctival congestion. He was consulted in the Emergency Department and later by the ophthalmologist. He went home with recommendations, including an ophthalmological re-evaluation on Monday”, said doctor Monica Adăscăliței, manager of Botoşani County Emergency Hospital.
The health of the actor was not endangered. The emergency medical personnel also informed the Territorial Labor Inspectorate about the case of the shot actor.
