The IOR Park in Sector 3 of the Capital became the scene of a police investigation after a call to the emergency number 112 announced the discovery of a body, reports aznews.ro. The Capital Police, through agents from Section 12, promptly intervened at the indicated place.

According to official statements, upon the arrival of law enforcement, together with a first aid crew, the death of a man aged approximately 40 years was confirmed. The case immediately sparked the interest and concern of the authorities, given the public place where the body was found.

Police officers from the Homicide Service, under the coordination of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court, took over the investigation to clarify the mysterious circumstances of this tragic event. The first indications do not suggest the cause of death, which is why the lifeless body was transported to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine for the necropsy. This step is crucial in determining both the exact cause of death and identifying possible signs of violence.

The area around where the body was found has been secured by police and public access is restricted to allow the investigation to take place.

The man’s identity was made public – he allegedly committed suicide, but the Police investigation, which did not see any visible signs of the cause, will determine the exact cause of death, after the anatomopathological analysis.

According to the information that appeared later, the man, whose body was discovered in the IOR Park, is called Ion Florea, known as Jean or “the driver of the dogs” (PHOTO above). A little while ago, representatives of the Kola Kariola association, an NGO that campaigns for animal rights, published a message on their Facebook page announcing the man’s death.

“He was Ion Florea Jean, our Jean or the dog driver! For 7 years he was our colleague, friend, brother, by no means a simple employee. He was going through a difficult time and we tried to be as close to him as possible in the last months. Jean chose something else, which we would never have imagined. He chose to leave this world for good, right from the place where he walked his dogs, on the Island of Dogs in the IOR Park. Jeane, forgive us all, forgive me because maybe I didn’t do everything I should, but you know well from where you are that I respected and loved you like a brother!

You finished us, Jean! For all the good you have done to animals, I still hope that God sends you to Heaven, even if you have chosen something else in your life.

We are taking a break because we have to deal with the funeral as it should and as it deserves!”, they wrote Kora Kariola representatives.
