FemtoLux 30 has a special history. He not only stormed into the new industrial laser market, but he did it in a special way, offering an innovation never seen before in the laser world. It is the first laser to be cooled by Freon instead of water, a technology still used in the semiconductor and military industries. “FemtoLux 30” has already won the recognition of users and is used both in industry, for the processing of polymers, metals, glass, silicon and other materials, and in scientific research.

This is an extraordinary achievement of the developers and an appreciation of more than 30 years of work. “Any challenge can be accepted, great victories can only be achieved by working and creating together,” noted Aldas Juronis, CEO of Ekspla, during the ceremony. “This win proves once again that our team is capable of creating the most innovative products that are appreciated not only by customers but also by market experts.”

The Prism Awards are presented annually to laser, photonics or optics companies for their most innovative products of the year. Companies from all over the world compete in the competition. in 2024 the awards were held for the 16th time.

Lasers manufactured by the company have been among the finalists of these awards three times. in 2010 Ekspla received the highest rating at the Prism Awards in the scientific laser category for its NT200 laser system.
